Michael Saylor’s Microstrategy makes play for burgeoning ‘Secure Digital Identity’ space using Bitcoin blockchain

Today Microstrategy released a preliminary open-source specification (along with SDK and Microsoft Outook plugin) to help fight email phishing attacks that are estimated to cost consumers billions of dollars a year. Dubbed, “Microstrategy Orange”, the presentation shows a scenario whereby an employee receives an email from their boss – Michael Saylor in this case – requesting funds be transferred. The employee is able to verify the absence of the “Orange” verification check and disregard the email.
