Bug: Looks like the Mitosis Beta Tester badge notification may not be working. Can anyone confirm? When you signup and login for the first time, you should see a red notification bubble on the top right (near your name) letting you know you have a new badge.

I got a badge when I went through the signup.

Looks like I need to change a few places where a users First name is being displayed instead of their Username. I'll look into this.

Is this the same Simon that owned the old Mitosis website? It was my primary hangout back in the day. I was on Simon's Hideout as well. My name was Stryker back then. I know dumb. Ran a virtual FTP 24/7. That was back in the day of 56K dial up and ISDN.

Hey man. Yeah, it's me. Just older and uglier! haha. I remember you and I remember FTP sites on 56K dialups. Those were the days! Glad you're here. Nice to see more than a couple 'old timers' around. :)

I still remember the thrill of the modem ringtones when you finally connected to a site that you had been autodialing for hours. And spending vast amount of money for the latest modem, and endlessly fiddling with the command strings. Xmodem, Ymodem, zmodem....a ridiculous number of protocols. Sorry, but haven't thought of this stuff in a long time. Much lost sleep, terrible phone bills.

I too was a member of Simon's Hideout after it was featured in Net magazine here in the UK back in 1999.
In fact it was this magazine article that introduced me to the existence of "WAREZ" and led to me becoming a part of the Jurassic, Blobby and Clockwork teams that produced apps compilations in the days before we had broadband over here.
Nice to see the site back up and running and I look forward to making some new and old contacts.

I'm sure you guys have much better broadband now. Here in the U.S. we're lagging (pun definitely intended). What kind of speeds do you guys typically get? Here, we get around 5-10 mbit down and 3 mbit up for around $40-$50

Wow it is great to be back, I was also a member way back at Simons Hideout. Anyone know the status of some of the other originals like Raid, Atexan, Morningstar. Had some good times when we all got together at Raids house.

now days i just get anoying messages from my isp telling me iv exceeded their 100gig monthly fair useage limit !!!!

Two things...the color scheme could be...better... anyone? And I really don't like the look of the Home site. Too much empty space.
